Regarding Westco Trading Limited:

What employees or councilors from Westminster City Council work or
have worked for Westco Trading Ltd and what are their roles on
behalf of the company?

When a council employee or councilor carries out duties for Westco
Trading Ltd, what rates are they paid and who covers their day to
day work whilst they are engaged in Westco Trading Limited
business, do you have records for who worked for Westco and whom
for Westminster and what hours they spent on each, could they be
made public?

How much public money did Westminster City Council expend in
setting up Westco Trading Ltd and would it be possible to see the
revenue and expenditure accounts for Westco Trading Ltd?

Under the Audit Commission Act 1998, would it be possible to see
any Audit reports for Westco Trading Limited that would be sought
under public interest?

Information Act 2000.

You requested the following information:

Our response:

We are unable to provide the requested information at present as we do not
currently hold it.

This information is, however, in the process of being collated for the
company's first set of accounts and we anticipate being in a position to
provide it in 4 weeks.

We will provide this information as soon as it is available.

You don't know how much it cost to set up Westco trading Ltd?

You don't know what councilors or Westminster City Council employees work for Westco or how much they are paid? Or what their work roles are? Or how seconded staff duties are fulfilled?

The accounts of Westco Trading were prepared and were part of the agenda to the Finance and Resources Policy and Scrutiny committee on 22 September. They were originally confidential but the committee voted down the recommendation to hear the item in private, so they really ought to be publicly available. They are certainly accessible to council officers. (There is a section of the accompanying report which is still confidential)

Why do they want a private email address to send the accounts to? I would also love to see the accounts for this company, and statutory accounts are a public document anyway, so why are they reluctant to send them to this site?
