Dear Sir or Madam,
As published online,[1] can you please email me an electronic copy
of the following information:
1) A copy of any notes of the meeting of the West Midlands NRPF
Network of Thursday 26th March, which took place at 2 – 4 p.m at
the Regional Partnership Centre, Albert House, Quay Place, Edward
St, Birmingham, B1
2) As mentioned in the West Midlands NRPF Local Authority Group.
Notes for the meeting of 4th. December 2008, please provide a copy
of:
2.1) A copy Pete Olner's (Birmingham), briefing he had drafted for
a cabinet member on the Slough Judgement.
"PO noted he had drafted a cabinet
member briefing on the Slough Judgement."
2.2) A specimen copy of the contracts you use that make landlords
liable for Council Tax
"7. Council Tax
Current position is that most arrangements (all new ones) now state
that
landlord is liable for the council tax payment on property as part
of the
agreement with the Local Authority. This had been more difficult
with family/
children cases in the past, but some LA’s present are seeking to
include this
3
within the agreement with Landlords. Part of the problem with
Council Tax
payments does stem from older arrangements that were made with
Landlords."
2.3) A copy of the support rates circulated.
"LA support rates
The previous support rates were circulated,"
3) As mentioned in the West Midlands NRPF Local Authority Group.
Notes for the meeting of 1st October 2008, please provide a copy
of:
3.1) A copy of the draft protocol produced by C Baff
3.2) A copy of the briefing done by 'DN' on the Slough and Leeds
judgements.
