The information you requested is provided as part of the University's
`Guide to Information'
([1]http://www.dur.ac.uk/foi/publication.sch...) which we provide in
compliance with the Information Commissioner's Office model
publication scheme. I hope you find this resource valuable as it
provides access to a great deal of information that the University
routinely makes publicly available. Specifically the information you
request can be accessed from [2]http://www.dur.ac.uk/spa/statistics/.
For this reason, the information you have requested is exempt under
section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act as it is reasonably
accessible by other means (our website).

2. How many students graduated from your establishment in 2007

Please see response to no. 1 above.

3. How many students graduated from your establishment in 2008

Please see response to no. 1 above.

4. How many requests, from external individuals or organisations, to
confirm the degree qualification of a former student at your
establishment, were received in 2006.

The total number of requests received from July through December 2006
is 1156. The University did not record statistics relating to
requests for degree qualification/verifications before July 2006.
When recording these statistics, the University does not
differentiate between external individuals, organisation, or current
or former students.

5. How many requests, from external individuals or organisations, to
confirm the degree qualification of a former student at your
establishment, were received in 2007.

The total number of requests received from January through December
2007 is 2253. When recording these statistics, the University does
not differentiate between external individuals, organisation, or
current or former students.

The total number of requests received from January through December
2008 is 2363. When recording these statistics, the University does
