I am wondering if you provide any advice or have regulations
governing vehicle access routes in urban estates?

e.g. What is the maximum recommended distance between the road (or
other vehicle access) and the property? How close do you prefer to
get your fire truck in the event of an emergency?

The property in question is a 3 storey tenement in the middle of an
estate that has no viable access route other than by foot.

In line with the terms of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, the Board of Strathclyde Fire & Rescue have in place a procedure by which a review of the way in which we handle requests for information can be carried out. Should you not be satisfied with the outcome of our review, you will then have the right to appeal to the Scottish Information Commissioner. The Commissioner will decide whether your request has been dealt with properly, in accordance with the Act.
