Vale View Public Footpath

alan m dransfield made this Freedom of Information request to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear Stockport Borough Council,

I understand the Minimum width(3mts) has not been obtained in the final design/construction of the Public Footpath at the rear of the Vale View School.

In my view, this will create a serious Health and Safety Issuse for the end users, hence, can you please provide me with a copy of the WAIVER from the SBC to the Contractor (BAM).
Such information WILL be in the As Built Health and Safety Files but unfortunatel , that document is not yet available?!

Yours faithfully,

alan m dransfield

Dear FOI Officer,

There is nothing in this document which clearly states the footpath width was reduced. Furthermore as this footpath was reduced by 50% I assume this was reflected by a 50% cost reduction of time and labour. Could you please confirm this design change order COST REDUCTION please

Yours sincerely,

alan m dransfield

provided to you in response to reference FOI 4739, which was sent to you
this morning. On this basis, your request below has already been answered.
