30 April 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please could you provide me with the following information under
the Freedom of Information Act -
For the following questions, please provide answers for each
financial year, starting from 2000/1 and ending with 2008/9,
1) Please will you confirm whether the services of the consultants
Kendrick Ash (I understand that this company has been taken over by
Northgate now so please include them in your answer since the
takeover if appropriate) were engaged by the Housing Benefits
Service?
2) Please can you provide a brief summary of the key tasks carried
out, for each financial year if they varied?
3) Please will you provide year by year figures for the total
amounts paid to Kendrick Ash for these services?
4) For the same period (and again please answer for each year
separately), please can you confirm whether the services of any
external benefits processing service provider was engaged by
Nottingham City Council?
5) Please provide the names of each of these service providers?
6) Please provide year by year figures for the total amounts paid
to each of these benefits processing service providers for benefits
processing specifically?
Thank you very much
Yours faithfully,
Andy Platt
