Dear Sir or Madam,
This is a request for information under Freedom of Information
(FOI)
and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR)
this request is specifically regarding speed Cushions i.e Overrun
Areas In council area specifically Thornton, fife and Finglassie,
fife under FOIA request the information as prescribed below
All documentation that regulates, (where regulates means - controls
or/and directs according to rule, principle, and law) along with
relevant documentation that has resulted in conforming to the
regulations along with the information that has caused the removal
and re implementation of any Speed Cushion
In these areas Including but not limited to:-
Consultation
Landscaping
Access
Signing
Monitoring
Objectives
Special Authorisation
Nature and frequency of complaints and compliments
Design specifications and quality control assurances
Measures taken to ensure they are implemented as prescribed
If the fee will exceed £450 please state this and confirm this fee
is not the result of Fife council’s inability to maintain any basic
management information system related to these issues. I would also
state that should the fee be estimated to exceed £450 I would
request you to provide reasonable advice and assistance to me by
way of refining the request to a more manageable cost level that
does not incur costs exceeding the appropriate limit.
It is my understanding that charge where the information is within
the appropriate amount the charge is only for postage and for costs
associated with reproducing the information, such as printing and
photocopying. Can you confirm the charge for printing and
photocopying at the also I believe Charges may be waived at the
discretion of the FOI Officer. To prevent unnecessary cost and in
line with Fife Council green policy I would request where ever
possible electronic information.
If I do not receive timely communication or attempts to provide
advice can you please confirm you are satisfied you have fulfilled
the requirements to provide advice and help regarding this FOIA and
that you are confident in my ability of identifying the information
I want. and that fife council fully understand the information I
want. And confirm that you can provide it to me within 20 working
days of receiving my request.

I feel you have interpreted my request incorrectly and clarify the

Fife Council are late.
They have not replied to my FOI request 'Transport Speed Humps
Implementation Consultation' within the 20 working days they are
allowed by law
Where I appreciate Ian Smith has indicated it will follow when
responding to a non related general enquiry "to follow" gives me no
indication as to when I will receive this information again I will
stress legally I should receive it within 20 days of making the
request.
