Charles Barry made this Freedom of Information request to Her Majesty’s Treasury

The request was refused by Her Majesty’s Treasury.

From: Charles Barry

24 June 2010

Dear HM Treasury,

I wish to make a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

Could you please provide me with a statement of all transactions
made to and from the Consolidated Fund of the UK Government for the
last 12 months?

If you are unable to provide this information, please reply with
your reasons.

Yours faithfully,

Charles Barry

PS
I previously submitted an identical request to the Bank Of England,
who wrote to me to say that they did not hold the relevant
information, and that it was their expectation that you did.

Dear Information Response Unit,

Thank you for your response dated 05 July.

Having read your response, I looked up the previous year's accounts
(located at
http://www.official-documents.gov.uk/doc...).

This appears to be a summary of the total movement of funds over
the financial year 2008-2009.

Unfortunately, this is not the data I am looking for. I am
requesting a statement of every transaction, with its appropriate
timestamp, for the previous financial year, which should show the
daily movement of funds out of and into the Consolidated Fund.

I would be very surprised if you did not hold this data in some
form.

Because you did not provide a link to the document to which you
referred in your response, I may be looking at a different document
than the one you had envisaged. If so, I would be grateful if you
could provide a direct link.

I therefore ask you to reconsider your response.

Yours faithfully,

Charles Barry
