Trailer Mounted VMS
Phil Brown made this Freedom of Information request to Highways Agency
Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Highways Agency should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.
From: Phil Brown
24 July 2009
Dear Sir or Madam,
How many Trailer mounted signs (VMS) are being used by the Highways
Agency?
How many of these are road legal?
The Highways Agency have been hiring and purchasing VMS units that
have been imported from the US and Canada. The vast majority are
not compliant with UK construction and use requirements.
Yours faithfully,
Phil brown
