requested statistical information on the Highly Skilled Migrant
Programme and on Tier 1 General of the points-based system. This falls
to be dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Freedom of Information Act provides that a public authority need not
comply with a request for information unless any further information
reasonably required to identify and locate the information is supplied.

met the necessary criteria with regard to education/qualifications,
income, etc., including reasons applicants who met those criteria
were rejected. In other words, if an applicant meets the criteria,
on what bases is such an applicant rejected?
