Dear Sir or Madam,

Can you please email me an electronic copy of all the invitation
correspondence, including enclosures/attachments, or any other
information you hold with regards the planned meetings/workshops
notified below, as mentioned in a recent stakeholder update,
possibly authored by Kim.Essex2 @ homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk or
Claire.Murray18 @ homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk of the UKBA.

Please also provide electronic copies of any information you hold
with regards the proposal paperwork and processes.

"UASC reform events took place in November 2008 to discuss reform
proposals and the creation of specialist local authorities to deal
with UASC’s in the region. The UASC reform programme intends to
hold workshops in early May for local authorities who wish to be
part of the programme to discuss the proposal process and
paperwork."

Dear J Cassidy,

Freedom of Information Request - 11642 - Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children (UASC)

Thank you for your e mail of 12 April 2009 where you have requested information on the Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Reform Programme and any information on workshops that we had originally intended to run in May 2009. Your request falls to be considered under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The target date for UKBA to respond to your request was 13 May 2009.

At the present time we have not decided whether or when or even if we are going to hold the aforementioned workshops but in any case they were not held in early May. Therefore there are no invitations, and no paperwork relating to the workshops.

However it is entirely possible that sometime in the next few months we may wish to resurrect the workshops and you are welcome to seek the information again. You may wish to make a further request for information in August. "
