Dear Mr Clee,

Thank you for your request under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act
2000.

You asked us:

I would like to request a complete list of suppliers/contractors
and consultants that have been used over the past year when
procuring IT Software and the total spend on IT Software during the
past financial year. Also could you break this Software spend down
to show which department uses which application. Could you also
please list all applications that are used by the trust in all
departments.

Please also provide details of IT Contracts Managers and any
person(s) involved in IT Software procurement.

Colchester Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust uses a third party,
Essex Shared Services Association (ESSA), to manage software procurement.
During the last year the Trust has spent £231,978 on software.
Unfortunately we store this information as a whole, rather than by
department so are unable to provide you with a breakdown of this. I have
attached a spreadsheet detailing all software used by the Trust.

The Trust does not have an IT Contracts Manager, the closest we have is
the IM&T Service Delivery and Best Practice Manager, who can be contacted
on 01206 747474.
