Dear Sir or Madam,
Reference: The EX-Peregrine falcon nest site at Chattlehope Burn,
Kielder.
Please supply all the information that you hold on the EX-Peregrine
falcon nest site at Chattlehope Burn, Kielder [near Catclough
Reservoir on the A68 to the Scottish Boarder] that was monitored by
Brian Little for the Forestry Commission. I am especially
interested in the numbered of people that were licensed to disturb
the nest site in 1992 to 1993 and the information people sent in on
the EX-nest site over the years. I am especially interested if you
can confirm that the nest site in question always had four egg
clutches and the fact that the 1992 records on the number of eggs
laid were not submitted in 1992 yet the years before and after 1992
were submitted until the site was taken over by ravens?
Given the fact that the original peregrine falcons that occupied
the nest site back 1992 must be dead and the fact that peregrine
falcons no longer occupy the nest site there is no reason not to
release the information requested.
Yours faithfully,
Derek Canning LLB [hons]
