Dear Mr Harris,
Thank you for your request.
I have a hard copy of the Order that I can send you. It is sixty seven
pages long and I do not think it is practical to send it as a scanned
document.
I cannot trace any amendments to the Order held by the City Council. As
you may be aware, the City Council has in the past made traffic regulation
orders as agent for the County Council. The agency came to an end some
years ago, with the responsibility and staff transferring to the County.
Therefore the records we hold will not be complete.
I contacted the County Council about amendments and was told:
"The City of Cambridge Area E (Consolidation) Order 1993 and its
associated amendments is still in force in respect of moving traffic
restrictions. The parking and waiting restrictions in that order and its
amendments are now covered by Cambridgeshire County Council The City of
Cambridge (Civil Enforcement Area)(Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking
Places) Order 2008 and its associated amendments."
If you let me have your address I will send you the copy of the 1993 Order
by return.
I hope that you find this response helpful. However, if you are
dissatisfied, you are entitled to ask for a review of this response. A
request for a review should be addressed to
Ms A Jackson,
Chief Executive,
The Guildhall,
Cambridge CB2 3QJ
(or [1][email address])
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of an internal review, you are
entitled to pursue an appeal to the Information Commissioner. Details of
how to pursue a complaint are available on the Commissioner’s website at

Yours sincerely

Thank you for your help. A paper copy of the Area E order would be
fine -- I can arrange to scan it myself if necessary. The admins of
WhatDoTheyKnow would rather I didn't send my postal address through
them, so I'll send the address to you from another account.
