Dear Sarah Campbell,

Thank you for your reply to my FOI request ref:

FOI LS0020

I take it that your rejection of my request is solely with
reference to section 43(2) of the Freedom of Information Act. Your
further remarks about what you deem to be in the public interest
are presumably not intended by you to be a reason for withholding
information.

I do not accept that your refusal is covered by Section 43(2) of
the Act and would like to request a review of your decision. This
email will suffice as a formal request for that review.

Yours sincerely,

David Jones

Dear Sir or Madam,

On the 13th August 2008 I asked that you formally review your
decision not to comply with my FOI request, your reference:

FOI LS0020

The grounds you gave at the time for denying my FOI request was
section 43(2) - commercial interest, although you rather muddied
the issue somewhat by venturing your opinion that the information
was was not 'in the public interest'.

Since then I have not received the results of a review or an
acknowledgement of my request.

Could you please confirm that you are dealing with my request for a
formal review and let me know when I might expect a decision to be
made.

Yours sincerely,

David jones
