Dear Mr Davis,
Apologies for the delay in responding to your request for information regarding ACPO's adoption, use, purchase or recommendation of the book "Tactical Communications: Professionally Dealing with the Public and Diffusing Aggressive Behaviour with Verbal and Non-verbal Messages". We didn't receive your original e-mails and as soon as we were aware of this requested that a copy of your original e-mail be forwarded to us by the "What Do They Know" team.
ACPO as an Association has not purchased, adopted or recommended the book in question, (although certain forces may have done); but since ACPO does not play a monitoring role, then it would be impossible to ascertain which forces might have decided to purchase, adopt or recommended the book.
Apologies for not being able to assist you on this occasion.
Kind regards,
Vicky
