Dear Mr Perch,
For information on secured bus services, please see the Nexus website: http://www.nexus.org.uk/who-is-nexus/our...
Our staff are able to purchase annual travel passes through the Corporate Travel Office, which has included the purchase of some Arriva passes. These payments therefore go through our system as transactions, even though the cost of the passes is then recovered through deductions from the relevant staff members' salaries. These transactions totalled £21,135 for financial period 2009/10. These are the only payments made to Arriva by Newcastle City Council.
