Dear North Yorkshire County Council,

1)What is the total money which North Yorkshire County Council has
given to Arriva between Wednesday, 1st January 2003 and Monday,
23rd August 2010?
2How much money was paid out under the de minimus scheme of states
aids rules to Arriva plc in each year (1st January to 31st
December) between Wednesday, 1st January 2003 to Monday, 23rd
August 2010?
3.For all other money paid out to Arriva plc starting on
Wednesday,1st January 2003 and Monday, 23rd August 2010 say how
much was given, the date and how thy are are legal under the states
aids rules.
In my questions when I write Arriva this includes Arriva plc plus
all subsidiary companies at Monday, 23rd August 2010.

In response to your FOI request, the total amount paid to Arriva
between the 1st January 2003 and 23rd August 2010 is £12,563,042.

There have been no payments made under de minimus schemes or state aid.
The payments made relate to contracted bus services and scholars travel
passes.
