Stockport Business Incubator Company

Brigitte Lechner made this Freedom of Information request to Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council

The request was successful.

From: Brigitte Lechner

10 March 2010

Dear Stockport Borough Council,

I understand that Stockport Business Incubator is continuing to
support start up businesses and has gone from strength to strength
since its official opening in October 2008. The project is a
partnership between Stockport Council, the University of Manchester
Incubator Company (UMIC) and Broadstone Mill.

The Council Leader's register of interest lists his role as
director of SBIC. What does this role entail, where does one find
records of meetings or reports, who are the members that make up
the Company and what is the legal status of this company. What
posts, if any, are remunerated and by what amount. If none/any is
not remunerated what total of expenses have been claimed since its
inception and how are running costs/expenses/salaries claimed and
paid for.

Yours faithfully,

Brigitte Lechner
