Dear Mr Steele,

The number of entrants to higher education courses at colleges and
universities is contained in Table 5 of the attached publication. A
social breakdown taken from whether or not the entrant is from a deprived
area is shown in Table 11.

The number of students receiving living cost support is shown in the
attached publication; Table 9 contains a breakdown by parental or spousal
income.
