Dear Sir or Madam,
In light of the £50 million pound Icelandic loss.
Are we really expected to believe that the Public are being
provided with services that represent 'good value for money'?
Can you please equate the tangible benefit to the Public ,which
justify paying such huge salaries too so many employees ; paid from
the Public Council Tax?

Dear S Smith
Staff pay over £100,000
As you are aware, the Freedom of Information Act gives you a right of
access to recorded information held by public authorities like Kent County
Council. When you make a request, you are asking for all the recorded
information the Council may hold on that subject. FOIA doesn't give you a
right to elicit officers' opinions (unless they are already on record) or
put obligations on public authorities to create information to satisfy
requests.
We believe that your request 'Can you please equate the tangible benefit
to the Public ,which justify paying such huge salaries too so many
employees; paid from the Public Council Tax? will fall outside the scope
of Freedom of Information Act as it is unlikely that KCC will hold this
information. Therefore, we believe it more appropriate to deal
with the comments in your email as a formal complaint about staff salaries
and remuneration.
Therefore, on behalf of the Chief Executive and in accordance with our
corporate complaints process
[1]http://www.kent.gov.uk/council-and-democ..., I
will arrange for your comments to be investigated and will write to you
again as soon as I can, and certainly within 4 weeks of date of
receipt (by 12th May).
Yours sincerely

Dear Sir or Madam,
Please explain why there is such a delay with supplying the
information requested. One would hope that kent county council is
capable of auditing correctly staff wages.
It is clearly of great interest to the Public, and they deserve
nothing less than transparency when such huge sums of money are
involved; being paid for by the rate payer.
Yours sincerely,
S Smith
