Dear Mrs Herod,
We have one outstanding request on our system which is in regards to the contractor appointed to build the trail at Brushes Clough rather than the stability of the spoil heaps. Can you confirm that this is the request you are referring to?
I have forwarded your email to the officer who will be supplying the information. However, the deadline date is not until 25/05/2010.
Please get back to me if you have any other queries.
Thanks

Dear Nicola Jumeaux,
The stability of the spoil heaps is the issue I am dealing with. I
wish to see the actual design of the project for the pump track and
bike trail through the heaps, and hopefully understand how the
design and build will mitigate safety, drainage and more
importantly, stability issues.
All we have seen so far is a concept of the plan. This is not
enough.
Yours sincerely,
Marian Herod

Dear Marion,
We will log your request as a new request, as Nicola has already confirmed
to you we have only one request `open' from you at present and this has
not asked the same question.
I trust this is satisfactory to you

Dear Barbara Mulvihill,
No I am not happy with this at all. This will simply extend the
deadline for a response.
I was asked to make a clarification. My clarification exlained my
reason for wanting the contact details for the successful tender of
the bike trail development at Brushes Clough spoil heaps. When I
have the contact details my questions regarding the design will be
directly with that company.
Therefore I have not changed my request/question. I still want the
contact details of that company and hold you to the original
deadline for my original question.
Yours sincerely,
Marian Herod

Dear Marion,
There appears to be some confusion, your 'open' question does ask for the company information, but your note today has asked for the plan, which is a different question. I will contact the officer allocated this request to get an up to date picture of where it is at. Could you confirm if the question in your earlier email today is a separate question to us or not.

Dear Barbara Mulvihill,
It is not a separate question. My open question is can I have
contact details for the contractor assigned to the development of
the Adventures in Play scheme at Brushes Clough.
There is no second question. Nicola asked me to clarify why the
subject title was 'stability of the spoil heaps at Brushes Clough'.
What you are interpreting as a second question is merely an
explanation of why I wanted the contact details. My reasons for
contacting the contractor are so that they can answer my questions,
relating to the design, directly.
I AM ONLY ASKING THE COUNCIL TO GIVE ME CONTACT DETAILS FOR THE
CONTRACTOR TENDERED TO DO THE WORK ON THE SPOIL HEAPS AT BRUSHES
CLOUGH. NOTHING ELSE.
My apologies if I have caused you confusion.
Yours sincerely,
Marian Herod

Dear Marian,
Further to your Freedom of Information Act 2000 request, received on
25/4/2010, I am able to confirm that we hold information in relation to:
"contact details for the contractor appointed to build the "Adventures in
Play" trail at Brushes Clough"
As you will know the cycle trail and pump track works have been
commissioned and are to start after the bird breeding season. A cabinet
report dated 16/3/2010 outlined the tender process and made a
recommendation that Cedar Landscapes Ltd be accepted as the successful
bidder.
A copy of the report can be accessed here:
[1]http://www.oldham.gov.uk/search_agendas....
Contact details for Cedar Landscapes can be found on their website,
together with an overview of their services
[2]http://www.cedarlandscapesltd.co.uk/inde...
Cedar Landscapes have relocated their office address from their original
base of many years here in Oldham but their yard and staff remain here.
I hope this provides the information you require.
Kind regards,
Richard
