Dear Mr Woodley

Thank you for request for information which was received on 12 April 2010.
I apologise for the delay in my reply. You requested the following
information;

(a) company name, addresses and rateable values of Commercial properties
that are within your Council with rateable values between £5,000 to
£8,000 who are eligible for, but not currently receiving small business
rate relief; and

(b) the names of the owners of those properties referred to in (a);and

(c) the relevant billing authority reference number as referred to in (a)

I can confirm that the Council does hold data in connection with
properties where small business rate relief has not been applied, however,
I regret that I am unable to provide the information that you have
requested.

In order for a ratepayer to be eligible for the relief I would need to
know whether they occupied any other properties outside the Bradford area
and unfortunately I do not have access to this information and am
therefore unable to ascertain who would be eligible for the relief from
the list we hold.

If you are not satisfied with this reply you may ask for a review of this
decision by contacting [1][Bradford City Council request email] or by writing to Freedom of
Information, Bradford Metropolitan District Council, 2^nd Floor, City
Exchange, 61 Hall Ings, Bradford, BD1 5SG

If you are still not satisfied with the outcome of the internal review you
have the right of appeal to the Information Commissioner who can be
