1. How many employees were red circled?
2. Out of all those red circled how many have been promoted?
3. How many employees that were red circled are no longer with
Argyll & Bute Council?

Dear Sir/Madam
I refer to my Freedom of Information request made to you on the
12th of August 2008 regarding "Single Status Red Circled Employees
with Argyll and Bute Council".
This request is currently overdue. By law the response had to be
made no later than 10th September 2008. Under the Freedom of
Information Act Argyll and Bute Council should have replied by now
and are breaking the law.

Dear Mr Hay,
I apologise for the delay, I had thought that the Service had responded
directly, but on checking they had passed the answers back to me.
The answers to your questions are:
1. how many employees were red circled
624
2. how many of those red circled employees have been promoted
50
3. how many red circled employees are no longer within Argyll and
Bute Council
40
Please note that figure re number 1 is at implementation date of 18th
February 2008 and numbers 2 and 3 are the number of promotions and
leavers as at today's date.
