Thank you for your question below relating to Simon Middleton Ltd. I can
confirm that since April 2009 NCC has used this company twice and paid a
total of £7578 for its services. On both occasions, costs were covered by
external funding.
In cases like this, we are required by the terms of the FOI legislation to
consult with 'third parties' such as the company in this instance. The
company has asked us to point out neither of these pieces of work are
related to work carried out on behalf of The Broads Authority, which is a
separate organisation from our own.
I believe this response meets your request. However if you are
dissatisfied with it or our handling of your request, you have the right
of appeal through the Council's internal complaints procedure by setting
out the grounds of your appeal in writing to the Freedom of Information

In response to your request of July 28 for comprehensive details of
payments totalling £7578 for services to Simon Middletion since April

Department for Education, not the council - which acts as the conduit
between the Department and the school.) Schools may sign to a support
package provided by the council that includes training and assistance in
marketing and producing publications

Workshop for schools developed and delivered by Simon Middleton 'Your
school, your meaning, your brand'. The event was offered to all 67 schools
signed up for the service and teachers from 19 schools attended. Feedback
was, across the board, extremely positive and enthusiastic.

The Steering Group felt it was important to commission a brand expert and
the Customer Service and Communications recommended Simon Middleton.
