From: David Jones
20 January 2010
Dear Sheffield City Council,
I would like:
1) a list of "publicly-owned companies" owned by Sheffield City
Council (in the sense of section 6 of the Freedom of Information
Act 2000). To recap a company is a publicly-owned company in this
sense if it is owned wholly by Sheffield City Council (whether
exclusively or jointly with other wholly owned companies).
2) a list of companies that are owned (at least in part) jointly by
Sheffield City Council and one or more other public authorities.
3) a list of companies that are owned partly by Sheffield City
Council, where the share is significant. 10% or more, say.
Yours faithfully,
David Jones
