Request for Information under FOIA

I am writing in respect of your recent enquiry for information held by Barnet Council under the provisions of the Freedom of Information Act, and apologise for the delay, please find below the information requested as follows;

This request relates to housing-related services provided at the
location of 108-110 Fonthill Road, London N4 3HT. These services
may also be known as or provided under the names:

Olympia House
Active Serve Ltd
Homewise Properties
Keynest

Can you please supply the following information:

1) The number of people your organization has placed or housed at
this location in each year from 2001 - 2010

A total of 5 young people have been placed by the London Borough of Barnet over the period 2001 - 2010

2001 - 2003 No placements were made
2004 - 3 young people placed - of which 2 left
2005 - 1 young person was placed in this year - a total of 2 young people lived here this year
2006 - 1 young person was placed in this year & 1 person left this year - a total of 3 young people lived here this year
2007 - no placements were made & no one left - a total of 2 young people lived here this year
2008 - 1 young person left this year - a total of 2 young people lived here this year
2009 - 1 young person left this year - only one person lived here in this year
2010 - No placements were made & no young people lived here

2) The terms of the contract between your organisation and the
provider

Olympia House Contract

3) What services have been provided and in which time period were
those individual services offered (for example, accommodation may
have been provided in 2002, accommodation plus counselling may have
been provided from 2006-2009 etc)

March 2004 - July 2009
Accommodation and floating support was offered in a 24 hour staffed unit.

4) The cost of those services

The cost varied from £457.03, £468.09, £1335.04, £747.95 & £644.50 per week for accommodation plus additional support hour costs that varied dependent on need.

5) Any marketing material advertising services sent from the
provider or their agent to you

We don't recall having any material other than the vacancy lists that were sent out - which we did not keep as we no longer use them.

6) Demographics of the people you have housed at this location
Of the total of 5 people placed 2001 - 2010 this is the breakdown.

Gender: 3 females 2 males

Age on being placed: 2 young people placed at 17 years old
3 Young people placed at 16 years old (n.b. one subject to a later age assessment making them 2 years younger)

Ethnicity: 1 Black/Black African ethnicity
2 Mixed White/Asian
1 White
1 Asian
