Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Westminster City Council should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,
From previous FOI request's, you've confirmed that there are no
plans to introduce security devices in charged motorcycle parking
bays.
Please answer the following..
1) Why has your website
(http://www.westminster.gov.uk/services/t...)
not been updated to reflect this as it states "We are committed to
rolling out further security for motorcycles across the borough"
when you have confirmed that this is in fact
inaccurate/wrong/mis-leading/a lie?
2) Why has Cllr Chalkley and the Westminster City Council parking
dept lied about the introduction of security devices for
motorcycles, as this was an argument used for the introduction of
the motorcycle tax, to gain support for it?
I look forward to your prompt response.
Yours faithfully,
Ben

Dear FOI,
I'm sorry you found my question vexatious, and that you feel i am
irritating you. I just want to be provided with correct and
consistent information, but you continue to fail to provide the
latter. Please understand that i am NOT inviting you to comment, i
am asking you for information.
My question quite clearly asks why Cllr Chalkley has promised
security devices when previous FOI's have stated there is no
intention to provide on street security for motorcycles in parking
bays? The reason this question is important is that it was an
argument used to introduce the motorcycle parking tax, thus swaying
the decisions of other Councilors who otherwise may have been
against it.
Please answer the question.
I would also like to take the opportunity to
advise you that you must reply to the original question by 23rd
October to comply with the FOI Act 2000.
Yours sincerely,
Ben Tweedy
