Dear Sir or Madam,
Please could you tell me, broken down by year since the
introduction of the Terrorism Act of 2000:
1) How many vehicles have been stopped under Section 44(1) of the
act?
2) How many pedestrians have been stopped under Section 44(2) of
the act?
3) How many times the authorisation for Stop & Search under section
44 was given orally?
4) How long (in days) was the delay between the oral authorisation
and the written authorisation as required under Section 44 (5).
