(ICO) under Section 33A, Part III of the 1974 Local Government Act.

We know it happens because people have complained to the ICO about our handling of their FOI requests, and sometimes the ICO will then asked to see all information we have refused to disclose. It is in these circumstances that the LGO will disclose information to the ICO under s 33A. Some members of staff can recall this happening, but as there is no record kept of it, there is no recorded information I can supply to you.
