Regarding your request for information under the Freedom of Information

" a) Please provide a list of all gifts, hospitality or donations

supplied to you by organisations promoting Scientology, over the

past 5 years.

These organisations include:

b) Promotional material for Jive Aces includes a photograph of
the

Mayor of Brighton posing with Jive Aces. Does any current or past

mayor of Brighton endorse Jive Aces, Narconon or Scientology?"

Please find set out below the information in response to the above
request:

"To our knowledge we have no information on gifts and/or hospitality
received from

(a) Jive Aces / Church of Scientology Inc / Greenfields School /

Greenfields Educational Trust / Hubbard Foundation / ABLE / Applied

Scholastics International / Narconon / Criminon / The Way to

Happiness Foundation International / Church of Scientology

Religious Education College Inc / Office of Special Affairs (OSA) /

Sea Org

or any other organisations promoting Scientology over the past 5 years and
no Mayor (since 2003 at least) has ever, knowingly, had any gifts,
donations or hospitality from any of the listed scientology organisations
- nor, to our knowledge, has any Mayor since 2003 ever endorsed Jive Aces,
Narconon or scientology.

(b) If it is a Mayor of Brighton in a photo with Jive Aces, the picture
must be pre-April 1997 and the city council does not, to our knowledge
have a copy of any such item relating to the former Brighton Borough
Council."
