Dear Lance,

Thank you for your assistance.

If I were to redefine my request to cover only certain specific
courts, then would it fall inside the limit?

Yours sincerely,

William Thackeray

Dear Lance,

Thank you for your help so far.

I would like to restrict my request to the following courts:
High Court of Justice,
Court of Appeal,
SHERIFFDOM OF GRAMPIAN HIGHLAND AND ISLANDS AT ABERDEEN,
LONDON TRIBUNAL CENTRE

I would also like to take this opportunity to add that by
'Scientology organisations', I mean organisations which promote,
recruit members for, or raise money for, Church of Scientology
Religious Education College Inc (a US corporation which has been
denied charitable status in the UK).

To the best of my knowledge a list of such organisations would
include:

Jive Aces / Church of Scientology Inc / Greenfields School /
Greenfields Educational Trust / Hubbard Foundation / ABLE / Applied
Scholastics International / Narconon / Criminon / The Way to
Happiness Foundation International / Church of Scientology
Religious Education College Inc / Office of Special Affairs (OSA) /
Sea Org / Youth for Human Rights International / Citizens
Commission on Human Rights (United Kingdom) Ltd

Yours sincerely,

William Thackeray

Mr William Thackery

Our Ref: ITG 58089 and ITG 57959

Dear Mr Thackery,

Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act) - time complaint.

Thank you for your e-mail dated 23 March in which you requested that we
carry out an internal review into the length of time it took to respond to
your request for information as you felt that we exceeded the 20 working
day statutory deadline.

Your request has been passed to me to investigate.

I have completed my review and can confirm that we did respond to your
requests within the 20 working day statutory deadline set out in the Act.

On 3 February 2009 - You sent a request to the Customer Services of CSHQ
for Scientology gifts (attached as an Annex).

On 9 February 2009 - Mr Lance Holden in HMCS responded to your request -
he confirmed that your request was too costly and was been refused on cost
grounds (letter attached).

On 16 February 2009 - You refined your request - attached to Annex.

On 6 March 2009 - Mr Luigi Leo wrote to you letter attached.

All our responses to your requests were handled within the 20 working day
deadline; I am therefore satisfied that we did respond to your requests
within statutory deadlines.

I trust that this answers your request for a review but if you are not
satisfied with this response you have a further right to ask the
Information Commissioner to review my decision, who can be contacted at
the following address:

Information Commissioner's Office

Wycliffe House

Water Lane

Wilmslow

Dear Michael,

Some confusion here, I think?

I haven't requested an internal review in respect of this request.

You can see a history of our correspondence in respect of this
request on this web page:
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/sc...

As you can see, there is no email from me dated 23rd March in
respect of this request.

Thank you nontheless for your assistance with this matter.

Yours sincerely,

William Thackeray
