I'm afraid this is not an FOI request and merely the expression of an opinion. I believe your opinion would be best forwarded to your elected representatives. If you live in the area effected by the area that is Alex Salmond MSP.

Dear Carl Holmes
OUTLINE PLANNING APPLICATION: GOLF COURSE AND RESORT DEVELOPMENT AT LAND
AT MENIE HOUSE, BALMEDIE. ABERDEENSHIRE
I refer to your email correspondence addressed to the Central Enquiry Unit
relating to the Scottish Government's decision on this planning
application. I have been asked to reply.
Your comments have been noted.
As you may be aware, on 3 November the Scottish Ministers gave notice to
the applicants that they were minded to grant outline planning permission
for the development, subject to conditions and the conclusion of a legal
agreement between the applicants and Aberdeenshire Council. Formal outline
planning permission will be granted once the legal agreement has been
concluded to our satisfaction. We will write to you again once these
outstanding matters have been completed.
Our letter sent to the applicants on 3 November, the report of the public
local inquiry and other relevant information is available on the Scottish
Government's website at:
www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/Built-Environ....
There is nothing further I can say in relation to the application at this
time.
Yours sincerely
Marion Clements
