Dear Sir or Madam,

I have been told that, in your department, a Mr Richard Jenden will
have this information. If you could pass this request on to him, I
would be most grateful. (I have not emailed him directly, as I am
using http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/ in order to keep the
information in the public domain, and have it easily accessible for
others.)

Further to
http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/sa...
I have been told that it is DeFRA that holds the information I
require. I will repeat my initial FoI request here:

-- Please could you supply me, preferably in electronic format, all
information pertaining to the disposal by DeFRA of the nuclear
bunker located off Brooklands Avenue, Cambridge.

This should include, but not limited to, details of offers that
were made, what criteria were undertaken to decide the successful
purchaser, who purchased it, any information on promises made by
the buyer on what will happen to it and so on.

Also, if there are any plans to develop the site, these should be
included in the response to this request if possible. Any other
information held by DeFRA with regards to the nuclear bunker (for
example, evacuation planning, personnel provisioning, as so on)
would be appreciated. If this is beyond the remit of DeFRA, I would
be grateful if you could direct me to the bodies who would hold
this information. --

Yours faithfully,

Dear Ms Barrett-White,

Thank you for your freedom of information request dated 16th July.

The former nuclear bunker to which your enquiry refers formed part of a
land sale completed in 2003. Therefore, we are recalling our available
files in order to deal with your request. I would hope to be in a
position to respond formally by 28th August. This will provide
sufficient time to review the papers and collate a response.

Regards
