Dear Ms Turner

Freedom of Information Reference: 08294FOI

Subject: Request for information regarding Salary Statistics by Gender

Thank you for your recent request for information received by this office
on 30th November 2009. The Resources Directorate have asked me to inform
you that a much greater proportion of part time employees will be female,
purely basing the response on the actual salary figures will distort the
picture that we believe you are looking for. Would it be possible for us
to provide the figures by full time equivalent grade to give more accurate
information. Please can you confirm that you will be happy to receive
this.

Yours sincerely

Rachel Starmer
