Dear Sir or Madam,

The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling, made a statement
under Section 19(1)(a) of the Human Rights Act 1998 to the effect
that in his view the provisions of the 2008 Finance Bill were
compatible with Convention rights.

Please publish any documents held by the Treasury regarding section
58 FA 2008 (or clause 55 FB 2008) which refer to Human Rights.
