Dear Mr Willis
Thank you for your online enquiry which has been passed to me for a
response. I am sorry that it has taken this long to reply but I am afraid
the email did not reach me until today.
Information regarding registered title ownership within England & Wales is
available as a statutory service from Land Registry and does not fall
within the FOI legislation.
Details regarding how such information can be obtained is explained on our
website and in Public Guide 1 using the following link
[1]http://www1.landregistry.gov.uk/assets/l...
The forms referred to can be downloaded from the website and any
application(s) should be made to the appropriate office, details of which
are also provided online. I am afraid that enquiries regarding ownership
of registered non-postal addresses cannot currently be completed online
via our website.
Clearly the specific enquiry may well relate to a large area of land
although I am afraid I do not know the line to which you refer. If that is
the case then you may wish to contact the relevant local office to discuss
the application before submission. The fees involved may be quite large
and a timescale for completion may have to be discussed.
If the information provided above or via our website is unclear then
please do not hesitate to contact me direct
yours sincerely
Adam Hookway
