31 July 2008
Dear Sir or Madam,
I would like some information regarding a serial number found on
the back of a watch I own.
Where was the number issued? What was the rank or regiment of the
sailor? What is the Navy policy on sailors personal items that are
worn on duty?
This is the name and serial number engraved on the back of the
watch;
R. G. Holloway P/064195
Yours faithfully,
Alistair Gibbons
