From: Elinor Davies

28 October 2008

Dear Sir or Madam,

Please let me know for how long a period the Royal Courts of
Justice Family Division must keep case files. Further, please let
me know if they may be copied, either fully or in part, for former
parties who are no longer legally represented after, of course, a
final Order.

Please provide me with similar information with regard to the RCJ
Chancery Division.

Yours faithfully,

Elinor Davies

Dear Customer Services (CSHQ),

I refer to your question: "Dear Ms Davies

Please would you tell me when you sent your previous request."

I am surprised that you have to ask me this as I should by now have
received a reply to my original enquiry of 28th October 2008.
Please now reply promptly and explain why it is that this is taking
so long and beyond the legal time limits.

Yours sincerely

Elinor Davies
