Dear Sir or Madam,
I am currently trying to catalogue all of the Royal Observer Corps post in Derbyshire and am trying to find out who owns the land at os grid reference SK36492497 to obtain permission to access the post.
I believe it may be owned by the forestry comission. I hope you can help me with this matter.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Mr Bexson
Thank you for your email dated 6 May 2008.
In order for you to find out who owns the land in Derbyshire that you are interested in. You need to lodge a Form SIM together with a plan showing the land in question. The plan must be to scale, include a north point and show enough surrounding detail to enable us to relate it to the Ordnance Survey Map. This will enable us to supply you with a title number for the land if it is registered. Once you have the title number you can then apply for an official copy of the register which will include the names and address of the owners of the land. Please note there is a charge of £6.00 for an official copy of the register.
You may wish to download a copy of the "Land Registry Public Guide 1" to help you. All of the forms mentioned above can also be downloaded from our web site - landregistry.gsi.gov.uk
