Dear Mr Holmes,

FOI request ref 2008 / 379 / Roadside verge maintenance

I am writing as promised in our email of 22 October to advise the outcome of our search for the information you requested on that date.

You asked for information regarding the contract for roadside verge maintenance in Lewes. This is part of the overall contract for roadside verge maintenance and a copy is attached. This information is provided subject to the Council's copyright and re-use terms which are set out below.

I hope that this answers your enquiry. If you are unhappy with the way the County Council has handled your request under FOI you may ask for an internal review. If you are not content with the outcome of the internal review, you then have the right to apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, the Information Commissioner cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the County Council's internal review procedure as described in the previous paragraph. The Commissioner can be contacted at: Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF. Tel: 01625 545 700. www.informationcommissioner.gov.uk
