A Freedom of Information request to Test Valley Borough Council by David Ellis
The request was successful.
David Ellis
8 July 2008
Dear Sir or Madam,
For each of the years that RIPA 2000 powers have been available to
the Council, please provide the following information :
The position(s) or rank(s) of all Council Officers nominated as
Authorising Officers in accordance with the Regulation of
Investigatory Powers (Directed Surveillance and Covert Human
Intelligence Sources) Order 2003; No. 3171.
Please note that no personally identifying information is being
requested, and a response in the aggregate (e.g "in 2007, 4
Environmental Enforcement Officers were nominated") would be
acceptable, but the mere number of Officers alone is not.
Yours faithfully, D. Ellis.
