Scottish Parliament did not have the information requested.

From: A Hegarty

Dear Scottish Parliament,

Could you please tell me how much revenue has been generated since
the inception of the Fixed Penalty Notices for minor anti-social
behaviour etc.

I would also like to know if this has increased or decreased in
comparison to the similar period whereby such fines were issued by
the Courts.

Could you also please tell me how much it costs to administer this
Fixed Penalty Notice system.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Hegarty

Dear Mr Hegarty

Thank you for your email. However though we hold some information on
revenue generated by Fixed Penalty Notices, we do not hold information
on the amount of revenue generated since the inception of the Notices,
or in relation to whether or not the amount has increased or decreased
in comparison to the period whereby such fines were issued by the
Courts.

I don't know for sure, but it may be the case that the Scottish
Government holds this information. If you wish to submit a FOI request
to the Government, contact details can be found here:
http://www.scotland.gov.uk/about/foi

You might also wish to contact Strathclyde Police about this. Details of
how to contact Strathclyde Police can be found here:

I hope that's helpful to you.

Kind regards

Steven Tallach
