Dear Rob Shorrock
FOI Number: 07907
Subject: 11 plus selection examination
Thank-you for your request for information from Lincolnshire County
Council, we are pleased to provide the following answers to your
questions.
Q1. Could you please provide a breakdown of results of children taking
the 11 plus selection examination for the county grammar schools
according to the following criteria: Total number taking examination
Total number of passes and dates of birth of the children who have
passed. Total number of failures and the dates of birth of the children
who failed. Could you provide this data for years: 2006 2007 2008
A. Please see attached spreadsheet of children taking the 11 plus
selection examination for the county grammar schools 2006,2007 and 2008
(the years are shown at the bottom of the spreadsheet).
The pass mark for the 11+ examination is 220. The total column is the
pupils mark i.e. anything below 220 would be a fail.
Please note that this data is provided to us by the Lincolnshire Grammar
School Consortium to help us co-ordinate secondary admissions. The
Consortium does not include Caistor Grammar School and therefore their
test results are not included.
We believe that this answers your request in full, if however you believe
that we have not fully answered or addressed all the questions you have
asked please re-contact us at the address above.
Once again thank-you for your request.
Yours Sincerely

Many thanks for the information.
Can I clarify the month numbers in the table.
Do they refer to a school academic year i.e month 1 is September or
calendar year i.e month 1 is January?
Thanks
Rob
