From: Carl Holmes

Dear Sir or Madam,
could you please introduce a new piece of legislation or a bill
which would help protect , restore and increase our natural
ecosystems like woodland, grassland, freshwater systems, over say a
5 and then a 10 year period setting targets to meet
for example our rivers need better protections from development,
the quality of the water need to get better by working with farmers
who spray chemicals nearby and to clamp down on pollution from
businesses, we need to re vegetate most of our river banks with
trees or reed beds and allow certain stretches to overflow and to
spill out onto surrounding land creating large areas of wetland
As for woodland and grassland these need to be expanded
dramatically working with landowners to create large areas of
forests
we need to think big (large scale)
Yours faithfully,
Carl Holmes
