Dear Sir or Madam,
I see from the DCSF response to an FoI request
(www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/graham_badman_annex_and_local_au)
that Swindon was one of 25 LAs that responded to a supplementary
questionnaire sent by Graham Badman as part of his review of
elective home education.
Please supply me with a copy of your response to the supplementary
questionnaire. In case you require clarification of the
questionnaire about which I am asking, it is included in DCSF's
response to my earlier FoI request (see
www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/badman_re...).
Yours faithfully,
Shena Deuchars

Dear Simon,
The document you have sent me is the response to the original
6-question public questionnaire. There was a 60-question LA
questionnaire that Swindon BC staff did not manage to answer.
DCSF has said
(http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/gr...):
All top tier local authorities (150) were sent the local authority
questionnaire (Annex D of Graham Badman's report). 90 responses
were received. A second questionnaire was sent to the 90 local
authorities who responded to the first questionnaire, 25 of whom
responded. A list of the 25 local authorities is attached.
Swindon is in the list linked to by that message. It is the
response to that second questionnaire that I am seeking. It asked
about the number of children known to social care in the authority.
A copy of the blank questionnaire can be found here:
