Dear Contact Centre (Chief Executives),

I made a request for your 'response made by the local authority to
the Home Education Review by G. Badman' which should, by law, have
had a response (other than an acknowledgement) by 28th of July
2009.
As I have not had a response, your department is in breech of the
Freedom Of Information Act.

Please ensure that the information I asked for is made available
very soon, or that I am directed to any exact duplicate of the
information requested, as I am aware others are asking for similar
information.

We have not formally responded to the Home Education Review for the DCSF.
We currently hold the information in draft form but this is yet to be
finalised and therefore we are not in a position to release it. For your
information the response closing date is October 2009.

I trust this response is satisfactory. However, if you are unhappy with
the way the authority has handled your request, you may ask for an
internal review. Please contact Rajat Jain, Information Access Officer,
Legal Services Department, County Hall, Matlock, Derbyshire DE4 3AG who
will arrange an internal review of your case.

The council have not answered the question.

They were asked for info pertaining to the Review which is closed and reported - not to the public consultation which closes in October 2009.

luckily I think someone else has got the information through an FOI from Derby. Maybe that is why they sent this strange reply.

this is their consultation responses. I asked for the initial questionnaire but i omitted to ask for the in depth follow on questionnaire. maybe you could clarify it for them and say you did not ask for the responses to the consultation in October 2009 but asked for the responses to the questionnaires for Badman (as you said 'in February'). I am asking for the initial but won't hurt for you to ask for it too but MAKE sure you ask for the in depth follow on questionnaire. They are one of the 25 LA's and that is the important questionnaire. x t
