Dear Mr Kloot
FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2000 - INFORMATION REQUEST REF No: 271060
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received on 18 July.
You requested the following information:
The Mayor of London recently rejected a planning report (PDU/1264/01)
dated 25th February from Islington Council for the relocation of Ashmount
School to Crouch Hill Recreation ground, N8. Since then, Islington
Council submitted additional information prepared by consultants "Cushman
& Wakefield" which has been accepted by the MoL. Please provide a copy of
this additional information.
I have consulted the Building Schools for the Future team and can provide
the following response.
The Mayor has not rejected the plans. The council has recently had
confirmation that the plans now comply with the London Plan and the
application can go forward to our planning committee. The Mayor will make
his decision on the proposal following a decision by our committee.
However, we were asked to provide further information earlier in the year
to satisfy the GLA that the application complies with the plan. The
alternative sites study that we provided is already in the public domain
via the online planning system.
The online planning system can be accessed at the following link:
