Dear Mohamed Amjim

Thank you for your e-mails dated 07/04/2009 concerning the above.

This is a general enquiry, not an FOI request, as you are asking about
the status of your application. In addition, any information would
subsequently be published on the website and so it is not appropriate
for enquiries of a personal nature.

You should therefore direct your enquiries to the Immigration Enquiry
Bureau (IEB) and I have enclosed the details for your reference.
Further information can be found on the UKBA website.

Dear Mohammed Ajim,

As explained in our email of the 8 April we are not able to treat your
progress enquiry under the Act. You will need to contact the general
enquiry unit, which we provided the contact details for or the FCO where
you made your initial enquiries.

There is no further action I can take and therefore I consider the
matter closed and I will not be responding to any further enquiries on
this issue.

Yours sincerely,

Mr Feakins,
