Request for log of FOI requests and publication scheme
A Freedom of Information request to Government Equalities Office by Jo Simons
Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Government Equalities Office should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Sir or Madam,
Please provide a copy of the Government Equalities Offices';
a) Log of incoming FOI requests, with dates received and replied to
since October 2007 and
b) FOI publication scheme, as required under the FOI Act.
For (a) I would like a copy of the actual document, or an
electronic copy of the collated information contained within it. If
this contains personal information relating to correspondents, then
I am content for that to be redacted.
Please contact me to acknowledge this request.
Yours faithfully,
Jo Simons

Dear Jo Simons
Thank you for your further email of 17 February.
GEO's understanding was that you had asked for your request to be transferred to DCLG, which is why you have not received a response from us.
Please could you clarify for us the information that you are still seeking from GEO (rather than DCLG) and we will consider how we can respond.
It would also be helpful if you could provide an email address that we can use to clarify your request, although we are of course happy to reply via the format you have been using.
I can also be contacted by telephone if that is helpful - 020 7944 0638 or my colleague Sue Dookun 020 7944 0841.

Dear John Moyer,
This illustrates precisely the information I am requesting, whether
the Government Equalities Office has any system in place for
recording FOI requests.
I have made two separate FOI requests to your department.
1. This request - Due by February 16th, hence overdue.
The text of which is as follows;
"Please provide a copy of the Government Equalities Offices';
a) Log of incoming FOI requests, with dates received and replied to
since October 2007 and b) FOI publication scheme, as required under
the FOI Act.
For (a) I would like a copy of the actual document, or an
electronic copy of the collated information contained within it. If
this contains personal information relating to correspondents, then
I am content for that to be redacted.
Please contact me to acknowledge this request."
and an earlier one, which I will now send across to you again.
Please reply to the two requests separately.
I also made requests directly to the Department of Communities and
Local Government and to the Department for Work and Pensions,
asking for details of any of your FOI requests held within their
recording systems. The request to the Department of Communities and
Local Government was briefly referred to yourselves by accident,
before being correctly returned to them.
You have also not replied to my formal request for an internal
review of your FOI handling. Should that remain unanswered, I will
refer the matter to the Information Commissioner for a judgment.
Yours sincerely,
Jo Simons

Jo Simons left an annotation (31 January 2009)
I've made requests to both, to find out if they hold FOI records for this office.
Next step is complaining to the Info. Commissioner, if they don't bother to even acknowledge the request for an internal review.
